If you’re looking for ideas to keep the kids entertained this February half term, Blenheim Palace has plenty going on to make a family day out feel extra special. Running from 14th–22nd February, their half-term programme is packed with creative activities, outdoor adventures and a very welcome Kids Eat Free offer.
Creative Half Term Activities for Children

Families are encouraged to wrap up warm and head outdoors, where children can enjoy meeting the friendly sheep in their pop-up pens, getting hands-on by making a cosy bug home for insects, joining Pip and Posy storytelling sessions, or creating their own friendship bracelets. Younger fans of Pip and Posy can also enter an exciting competition to win a brilliant prize bundle.
Kids Eat Free in the Walled Garden

When it’s time to refuel, head to the Walled Garden Pizzeria, where Kids Eat Free alongside any adult main course. Children receive two slices of margherita or pepperoni pizza plus a carton of juice, making it an easy and budget-friendly option for families. The freshly made, wood-fired pizzas are cooked to order and are ideal for fuelling a day of exploring.
Pip and Posy Creative Competition
There’s also a fantastic creative competition running for young artists, writers and Pip and Posy fans. Children are invited to draw and name a brand-new friend for Pip and Posy to join their existing friends, Jamilla, Zac, Frankie and Mo. Entries can be created using felt tips, pencils, crayons or any artistic medium. To enter, families simply need to download the template sheet, create their artwork and upload a photo of the finished creation via the entry form.
Amazing Prize Bundle to Be Won
The lucky winner will receive:
- A private Adventure Play session while the attraction is closed to the public
- A family Palace & Play Pass
- A Pip and Posy x Blenheim Palace goodie bag
The winner will be chosen by Magic Light Pictures, the Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning creators of family entertainment.
Adventure Play & Rainbow Treasure Hunt

Little explorers can also let their imaginations run wild in Adventure Play, following the Pip and Posy Rainbow Treasure Hunt, inspired by an episode from the much-loved pre-school series which airs on Sky Kids and Channel 5’s Milkshake! Set within the historic Walled Garden, Adventure Play is the biggest family-focused attraction in the Palace’s history and features immersive, interconnecting zones packed with secret chambers, tunnels, slides, rope bridges, clamber nets — and even giant carrots!
Families can hop aboard Winston, the adorable mini train, for a fun journey to the Walled Garden, and once there, race against the clock to see if they can conquer the mighty Marlborough Maze in just 10 minutes.
Access to activities in the Walled Garden is included with a valid Pass or Park & Gardens Day Ticket.
Pass holders can book a single Adventure Play visit for £5 per adult and £7 per child.
For families planning to visit regularly, Palace and Play Passes offer great value, providing a full year of access to both Blenheim Palace and Adventure Play. Prices are £165 for a family of four, £51 per adult and £41 per child.
